The 2012 Ehlers-Danlos National Conference “Living with EDS” will be held August 9-1, 2012 at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center, just across the bridge from Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Mitakides is honored to be speaking at the conference, which includes such notable physicians as Rodney Grahame, CBE, MD, FRCP, FACP, FRSA. Dr. Grahame, of England, has published landmark books on Ehlers-Danlos and similar syndromes, and Queen Elizabeth has recently awarded The Commander of the Order of the British Empire for services to rheumatology. He is a frequent contributor to the website of the Hypermobility Syndrome Association.
